This is the top portion of radio cabinet from the twenties, originally manufactured by Saginaw Furniture, Saginaw, MS. The piece still carries the label in the back (see photos). The radio and the lower portion are no longer there and the piece can be used as a cabinet bar. It has been repainted in a light purple tone with base in black chalk paint. Byzantine Gold gilding wax for the moldings and top satin coat. The body has been protected with clear wax, the inside with matte lacquer to make it more resistant.
